"An Inconvenient Truth" film sotlighting Global Warming will be shown, Sunday, Oct. 22, 12:30pm. Church on the Edge (PCUSA) , 710 Undercliff Ave, Edgewater, and the Interfaith Power and Light campaign, a non-partisan ministry (www.interfaithpowerandlight.org) will sponsor this film which has been shown in theaters in Edgewater and surrounding communities.
Acorss the country, the religious community is taking action and answering the call for stewardship of the planet, ones health and for all of the creation. Tangible results are possible. Each person will be given an information packet listing resources. Janet Martin, justice ministry advocate, invites the community. Light refreshments will be served.
