Weather canceled flights to many places! Church on the Edge has canceled worship services for this day . The Youth Liturgical Dance Ministry, Rosedale Presbyterian Church, Newark, NJ, who were to participate in the Sunday, December 16.2007 worship service will be rescheduled. Rev. Dr. Wanda M. Lundy, pastor, invites the community to following 10:30am Sunday worship services. Curtis Lundy and the Spiritual Lights jazz ensemble gift the congregation with music. Bobby Watson, jazz saxophonist, will play with the ensemble at a future service.
Advent and Nativity ornaments are placed on the Christmas Tree which is lit in celebration and memory of the life of Skylar Bodek, son of Terry Bodek, and grandson of Jack Bredin. The Communication Ministry has received a gift in memory of Doloris Cusberth by the Cusberth family.
A community breakfast beginning at 9:15am preceedes the worship service. A "Stone Soup" lunch will be served after worship where the community may share visions, dreams, expectations, the 'waiting' which is the walk of Advent.
