Who is invited? EVERYONE ... Church on the Edge is an intentional Multicultural Multiage Congregation seeking to be a witness of transformation in ones life.

What happens? And when the people gather, there is music, praying, sharing concerns, reading of scripture, reflections, singing, tithes and offerings presented, baptisms, weddings and more. The Table of our Lord Jesus is celebrated. In this Communion, all are invited to share the sacrament, the joyful feast of the people of God for the people of God.

What do we wear? There is no 'dress code' save compassion, humility, humor and as the scripture records (Matthew 6: 25 - 34) do not worry: T-shirts are fine as well as suits, skirts, slacks, jeans, dresses and as the Church on the Edge T-shirt says,

These ARE my church clothes.

The First Presbyterian Church on the Edge is a spirit filled congregation affirming the scriptural admonition "to not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds". Jesus Christ is the head of the church and we are called to be members of the body. Through study of the scriptures, prayer, living in community with one another we journey with the saints who have gone before us, the saints of this day-each other-answering God's call.

Remembering that we are the church in the world, we go to embrace the Will of God, to Obey the Call of God, to Receive the Power of God and to Reflect the Love of God, through Jesus Christ. Standing together we invite all to participate in this transformational ministry.
